FAQ

What is your shipping policy?

Smaller paintings up to 18x24 are shipped using USPS. Larger paintings from 24x24 and up are shipped using UPS. Please select the correct shipping method based on size at checkout. I make sure that every painting is wrapped up safely for shipment. Once items have shipped, I will send you a confirmation email and tracking number! If you would like to schedule a local pickup in Spring Hill, TN or Madison, MS, enter ‘LOCALPICKUP’ at checkout so you will not be charged for shipping. For those of you in Madison, MS, I will bring your orders from Nashville the next time that I am in town. These local pick-up orders will have to be more flexible with timing! For paintings larger than 30x40, I ask that you email me directly so I can better gauge pricing & your delivery needs. If you are purchasing more than one large piece of art, and you have questions about the cost of shipping, email me first before purchasing. I want to make sure that your shipping cost is accurate! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

How long do paintings take to ship?

It depends on whether a piece is already in stock or made to order! If a painting is in stock, it will be shipped out within 1 week. If I paint a custom piece for you, it will take anywhere from 1-5 weeks depending on the busyness of my art schedule! I will always keep you updated on when I believe something will ship, and you can email me directly for further questions.

Why is shipping expensive for larger pieces?

Since we are shipping fine artwork, it is treated with care by UPS. They want to ensure that the box is treated as “fragile”, and delivered to you without damaging the painting. Keep in mind that we are shipping something special, and this is what it costs to make sure that a large piece of art arrives to you safely! If you live close by, I am always willing to meet up with you for drop-off, and I offer local pick-up in Spring Hill, TN and Madison, MS.

Are all sales final?

Yes. We can not accept returns! If the product is damaged after the point of sale, 1000 Words Designs is not held responsible. We always inspect every piece of art before shipment and delivery to make sure everything is perfect for you! Each shipment is always securely wrapped up to insure the safest delivery possible. In addition, we are not responsible for any discoloration or damage that takes place to your piece over the course of time.

How do I order a custom piece or size that isn’t available for purchase on your website?

You can email me under “Contact” or using the email icon in the top right-hand corner of my website! One of my favorite things to do is create custom pieces for you. We will touch base on all of the details of your vision from size and content, to color scheme! If you see a piece you want, but the size is not available for immediate purchase, email me. This is because larger sizes require me to do further research to better gauge shipping details & costs.

Are all of your pieces originals?

Yes. At this time, all of my paintings are original, hand-painted works. If a piece is a print, it is labeled as so, and you can find them under my ‘PRINTS’ or ‘NOTE CARDS’ Pages. Any other paintings under the other pages are original works.

How do I inquire about wholesale accounts?

Simply fill out the form under “Contact” at the bottom of my website. Once I receive your email, I will get back with you as soon as possible with a line sheet & further details!
